The Challenge

  • Following a re-structure of its managed services, Toyota Australia had a requirement for a robust infrastructure platform that would support all of its Sitecore websites
  • The platform also needed to enable high availability and zero downtime deployments
  • Toyota wanted to ensure overall stability and performance of the platform
  • Toyota wanted a central party to manage governance, content and code deployments, deliver common functionality that would be used by all agencies, and enforce Sitecore best-practices
  • Toyota wanted a fully managed solution with complete flexibility for deployment and customisation of xDB and reporting

The Solution

  • PING now provides an Azure cloud-based service for a number of Toyota’s key websites
  • The environment supports multi-vendor development and software releases from development through SIT, UAT and into Production
  • PING provides guidance and consulting on matters of solution architecture, Azure infrastructure, and Sitecore implementation practices
  • Quality control: we also provide release management, code delivery and content updates to all environments, as well as first-response support for any incidents in the Live environment on a 24x7x365 basis
  • In addition, we provide Toyota with platform governance, incorporating source code reviews of deliverables from partner agencies, ensuring Sitecore and general development best-practices are being adhered to
